Recipe Description:

Paneer is a perfect sponge for rich and fragrant flavours of which it easily absorbs. Persian and Afgan rulers introduced paneer to north India in the 16th century. Paneer comes from the word ‘peynir’, the word for cheese in the Persian and Turkish languages. Achari Paneer, achari meaning “pickled” in Hindi, uses yoghurt and a fragrant combination of spices such as fennel seeds, cumin seeds, nigella seeds, and fenugreek seeds to make a rich, pick-flavoured curry with smoky aromas.
