Recipe Description:

Named after the influential Stroganov family, this Russian recipe’s origin is disputed. Legend has it that a French chef created the dish for the elderly Count - the thin strips of beef designed to be easier to chew. Earlier versions have since been discovered, with the first known recipe dating back to 1871. We're bringing you our version of this storied dish here. Strips of beef are cooked in a sauce of sour cream, mushrooms, and parsley. Some eat Stroganoff alongside crispy potato strips, but we're serving ours with fluffy rice to soak up every drop of the silky sauce.
