Recipe Description: 

Experiencing a perfect forkful of moussaka is a uniquely Greek gastronomy experience. The main school of thought is that the Arabs introduced the dish when they brought the aubergine to Greece. It is believed that the Greek version is an ancestor of the Levant variation musakhkhan, the word deriving from the Arabic word musaqqâ, meaning “moistened” referring to the dish's delicious tomatoey juices. Our take on the traditional moussaka contains luscious layers of juicy minced lamb in a seasoned tomato base, layered with creamy aubergine, topped with a cheesy yoghurt based sauce and baked to absolute perfection.
