That’s where bowlfuls of thicker, heartier soup come in handy, perhaps infused with a sturdier than average miso paste that will elevate the Quorn mince effortlessly. Joetsu city’s famous tonjiru (pork miso soup) is one such dish, but we’ve been further inspired by the unusual spiciness of Japanese miso ramen, an unconventional formula that often features Chinese-style chilli bean paste to add that extra kick.
